We recognize that there is a non zero chance that in this universe, any one religion could possibly be ‘right’ and therefore the same chance exists that they could all possibly be ‘wrong’ as well. Why are there so many religious conflicts throughout history when none of us can be empirically, definitively certain of our religious identities and all of us take the same leap of faith, at some point, deep in our belief systems?

We personally have had the most profound spiritual experiences of our lives in the float tank, which we believe is the ultimate environment for spiritual connection. After a decade in the float industry, we know that we are not alone in this experience.

At COTV you are free to carve your own spiritual path and take the lessons given to you in the Void back into the world. We encourage you to share your findings with us, in the spirit of non conversion, so that we can all apply them on our journeys.

Be a pillar of community.

The importance for human beings to be a part of a community cannot be understated. Yet so many communities throughout the world do not have the tools or infrastructure to create effective communities of their own. We hope to change that.

Church of the Void plans to secure strategic partnerships with local resources to create Super-Learning Centers, a mega-church to the Void, a facility dedicated to the mental, physical, and spiritual health of its members.

Each center will have float tanks and other wellness modalities that induce flow states and promote general physical health. As well as things like ESL classes, community gardens, libraries, gyms to name a few. Ultimately, these facilities will be customized to meet the demands of its territory.

Foster real prosperity.

One thing we know about all religions throughout time, they contain the idea of service to humanity as a supremely holy endeavor. We want to take that notion a step further, into the 21st century, and really ‘teach a man to fish’ as they say. By investing in the power of the people and giving them access to services that allow them to flourish.

We have lofty, possibly illegal (lawyers please click here) ideas to make this happen. From providing access to financial advising, to setting up a network of B corps to even a church sponsored 401k, we have no shortage of proposals in which we can make your life better.

Let’s face it, money means something in this world and fractional increases in income can make a huge difference in our outlook. It also doesn’t take a whole lot to meet a decent level of happiness in life. It is our belief that throughout history much of the middle and especially the lower classes of the world have been overlooked in their potential talents for contributing positively to society. The effects this oversight can be seen in the income disparities of our modern times.

We are committed to changing that.
